The majority of Northstar campers are only 7' wide with the wides camper only 7' 6" wide. The major disadvantage of beeing narrower is bathroom and seating area. The problem with wider is the weight gained and reduction of stability by stretching the center of gravity. Norhtstar believes in narrow campers for safety and stability. Cornering is easier when going dow an mountain or venturing offroad. It is easier to see around when towing, in traffic, or backing up. The center of gravity is moved closer to the middle of the truck, giving you more control of your vehicle in calm or windy conditions. There is less wind resistance and les stress on your truck with a narrower camper.
